This is a very interesting disaster movie starring, among other Dwayne Johnson a.k.a. The Rock when he used to be a Wrestler. As the title shows it is about San Andreas Fault in California USA. Dwayne has a wife and a daughter, but he does not live with them. His wife is currently dating another man (the former Mr Fantastic of the Fantastic Four). While Dwayne daughter is downtown disaster strikes and she become trapped in a building complex. She ask the assistance of her mother boyfriend (the former Mr Fantastic) but he quickly decide that he is gonna look after himself. Anyway an earthquake causes a lot of damage to buildings and transport road and eventually Dwayne and his wife try to rescue their daughter by flying a helicopter the disaster area where their daughter is trapped, will they be able to save her? What is gonna happen to the former Mr Fantastic? The Visual effect are as spectacular as 2012. Very enjoyable movie for those who like adventure and survival skills.
